Consciousness

«How can you get the inspiration for something like this?» This is the first question they ask me when they see this painting. And yet it is very simple. Everything we do in our lives has a little head behind it, whispering in the ear and setting its own rules and needs. When you know that what you are going to do is wrong, and yet you insist on wanting it with all your might, then this little person takes the reins of your thinking and tries to put you on the right path, asking questions of doubt, «do you want it? How much do you want it? Will it do you good? Great, you did it! What did you understand now?» And the more he talks to you, the more he worries you and the important thing you wanted stops to be important. This is consciousness and its picture through my own eyes.
